This Started With One Cat
House of Catrina was founded by Sanam Bhobe and Siddhesh Bhobe: a daughter and father duo, who spent years doing rescues, emergency medical cases, fostering, and adoption coordination long before there was a company name to put to it.
Through hundreds of interactions with cat parents across multiple cities, they saw the same thing. The cat care ecosystem wasn't built for the people who cared the most. It was fragmented. Unreliable. Designed around dogs.
Cat parents were left to figure it out alone. Googling symptoms at 3 AM. Hoping for the best. Stitching together care from strangers.
One unforgettable calico cat named Catrina — part of the family for over a decade — crystallised everything that followed. Her name is on the door.
This is the house she inspired. And its doors are open.
